Jeremy began working as a photojournalist in 2007 as a weekly contributor for the Valencia Voice. In fall of 2007, he took over the reigns of the Valencia Voice as Editor-in-Chief, before leaving the following spring to complete his Bachelor’s degree in English at Cornell University. While at Cornell, Jeremy was a staff photographer for the Cornell Daily Sun. He graduated in 2009, and now works as a filmmaker and freelance photojournalist. Jeremy currently resides in Yokohama, Japan.

As an avid traveler who has visited over 50 countries, Jeremy has photographed in a number of locations, notably: Afghanistan, China, the Republic of Georgia, India, Iraq, Japan, Korea, Lebanon, Nepal, Ngorno-Karabakh, Pakistan, and the United States.

His work has focused on the lives and culture of people and their societies as well as the conflicts and obstacles they face. Throughout the vast diversity of our world, he seeks to document that which unifies us: the human experience.

Jeremy recently worked as the Director of Photography for two documentary films including, Malana: Globalization of a Himalayan Village (2010) and China: The Rebirth of an Empire (TBR.)

His photography has appeared in the Valencia Voice and the Phoenix (Orlando, FL, USA,) the Cornell Daily Sun (Ithaca, NY, USA,) the Washington Square News (New York, NY, USA) and Metropolis Magazine (Tokyo, Japan.) In 2008, Jeremy was awarded First and Second Place in the annual Florida Community College Publication Association contest for his photographs, Gaddani and Mazar-e-Sharif.
